Irish singer-songwriter who first gained fame as a member of the boyband One Direction. In 2016, he signed a record deal as a solo artist with Capitol Records. He debuted as a solo artist with his 2017 album Flicker, which features the singles “Slow Hands” and “This Town.” He released his second album, Heartbreak Weather, in March 2020.
While growing up, he listened to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and performed in Christmas productions with his school choir. He taught himself how to play the guitar with YouTube tutorials when he was 11 years old.

At the age of 16 years, Niall Horan auditioned in The X Factor in 2010. He failed to qualify in the ‘Boys’ category but was placed in a group along with Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Harry Styles. They went on to be called ‘One Direction’. The group finished at 3rd place in the show.
